Poulnabrone Dolmen in the Burren, County Clare, is one of Ireland’s most famous prehistoric monuments, a Neolithic portal tomb dating from around 3800–3200 BC. Its striking limestone capstone and remote setting make it an iconic landmark, while excavations revealed that it was used as a burial site for ancient farming communities over 5,000 years ago.
The neutral tones and unique meandering style is used to mimic patterns found in waves and mountains among these landscapes. Each of these prints are printed on Hahnemühle Photo Rag paper and packaged in 100% biodegradable bags and backing boards made from recycled materials. Emily McKeagney is a graphic designer from County Offaly. She takes inspiration for her illustration style and colours from the beautiful landscapes across the island of Ireland.
